I usually wear a size 8 or 10 women's jeans and wanted to wear them hiking in the colder months. I wanted to be able to wear leggings underneath so the medium size was too tight (I just fit without leggings) so the large was perfect!

I have read the size chart. I read the comments and bought the right size. I wear US 14 and bought XL in purple. They are so well made that it is impossible to untie them on the slopes. It is a well designed hook and eye closure, industrial strength. Buy with confidence! The inside is soft too! The ideal pant length is 31 inches or so. My height is 5 feet 6 inches.

Perfect fit and flattering. TTS. A bit tight when I squat as they don't stretch much and you can wear a layer underneath, but it makes it tighter, especially at the waist/buttocks. Unfortunately, the waistband broke when trying it on. I hardly touched it. I'll try to fix it because it's not worth changing.

later I think they are a bit big but the size chart is pretty accurate. They weren't an XS size so I took the small one. They are roomy but I bought them for outdoor training so I think they are easier to move around. I love the stretch in the knees and the colorful pockets are not only cute but also zip so you don't lose your little things. The fleece lining is soft so you can wear them without extra layers. good price too.

From other comments I've read I knew they were going to be a little tight. Also, they're oddly short (not surprising as I'm a very tall woman at 5ft 11") but shorter than I expected. Still looks great with ski boots and skates. Very warm (with thick fleece lining) but they don't feel like a big shell to wear over jeans, I can wear a few layers of leggings underneath. I like the big pockets, the high waist and the pretty dark purple color.

Snowboarded for the second time in February and it was great staying dry and warm! I wore the bottom layer of the leggings but I wore them two days in a row and no tears no tears everything dried both days! Great deal for good quality. I have a medium for all cases!
