Austin Evans was right!

So I bought these after a YouTuber named Austin Evans unwrapped a pair from her Mystery Tech series and was in awe of how good they are. I was skeptical despite being a fan of her channel, but I finally bit the bullet after getting the Prime discount, and boy was I right. They put my $60 Beats to shame for being crisp, balanced, and smooth. Switching to other headphones seems like a hassle considering how good they are. These are my favorite headphones for relaxing when I'm on my computer…

Best in price range I've tried

I was looking for a replacement for my previous headphones: the Hifiman re600s v2 Songbird, which sounded very musical (although the response curve is definitely not flat) but had flaws exhibited construction resulting in a lack of durability. After lots of research and numerous blindfold tests, I found the Final Audio E4000 to be exactly what I was looking for. They ensure clarity across the frequency range and have a small kick in the low end, although definitely not overdone. The soundstage…

Unavoidable sound imbalance. Avoid

I really liked these things but am very disappointed in their durability. My first pair lasted about 3 months until the right ear suddenly became noticeably louder than the left. I will say the customer support is great and the first pair was replaced with no problems. All I had to do was pay for shipping and ship the old pair. Unfortunately, the new pair of replacements also had the same problem for several months, only this time it was the opposite, with the left element being lower than the…

Comfortable and Great Sound

Cons: I've owned it for less than a month with occasional use, but about 5% of the time the right earbud randomly cut out all sounds for a few seconds. I can't tell if it's a cable or driver issue as I haven't tried replacing the cable yet. --- Pros: In the remaining 95% of cases, the sound quality is excellent. Very neutral and has a decent soundstage. I don't find its soundstage as good as my kz-as10, but it's much better than something like the 1moretripple driver. --- Buy it for its…

Warm sound, good build quality

I've had a Final E3000 for a few years and love it so much. When my favorite Klipsch S4 finally died, I took the risk of buying an E4000 as a replacement. The sound quality is very good - solid bass with a warm tone. The question I wrestle with is whether they cost around three times the price of the E3000, which are amazing on their own, with perhaps less sensitive bass but brighter highs. For my aging ears, the reinforced top is slightly more beneficial than the reinforced bottom, so I'm not…

Great sound, poor cable noise and fit

Bought these headphones because of the excellent review on the wire cutters. However, I didn't use them for more than a day and went back to my old Bose IE2. In itself, the sound of the E4000 is significantly better. It's great listening to Metallica songs on it. However, as I found out, not everything depends on the sound quality. There are 2 big minuses: 1) noise from the cable. This is very very bad. With the slightest movement, the cable rubs against something, stretches, and goes right…
