This is a good looking shoe and comfortable except the back of the heel/ankle is high and for some reason the left one cuts into my ankle the right one was in Order. It would probably work if I wore high socks, but I wear ankle socks and they aren't high enough to cover my ankle in that area. One thing to note is that the shoes are made of a transparent, mesh-like material and although they are colored dark grey/black, socks are visible through them. I wear a women's 10 so men wear a size 8. When I finally got them they were so tight on my legs that I had to send them back. I know I need an 8.5 on men for these shoes to fit properly.

These shoes have hardly been worn. Gave my son bloody scratches/ulcers in the Achilles tendon area from both shoes. We have tried bandages, sports bandages, high socks, etc. to solve this problem. Whatever is rough/sharp, even cut through the toes. It wouldn't be so bad, but kids can't leave school to change their shoes. Now they are in the closet after a few uses. He told me they fit well and otherwise feel good. Was a bit unsure (14 year old) that they were clean but could handle it.
