Nice thick leather. Good for many uses. I used some of these to put under my anvil so they don't slide over the stump when I'm stamping the silver.

This material has a smoother finish. It's 2mm thick and does a good job of creating TN. But I prefer brown.

Perfect for the project because they are stiffer and thicker than what I could get from Michaels. Also, the brown was a true brown with no red undertones.

I am very happy with this purchase. I made 2 mini travel notebooks from this letter size piece of leather. I don't know much about leather but I would say that this type of leather is exactly what I expected from FAUXDORI. The only disappointment is the six tiny holes along the edge of the top as the staples punctured. Thus, the entire useful portion will be 1/2 inch shorter than specified. But since it didn't affect my project I would still give 5 stars.
