Very disappointed with this flashlight. We have a brown rug with tufted loops and our aging cat has recently started peeing on it. In total darkness and with glasses on, we couldn't see any change in color or contrast in the carpet's appearance, even in areas where we know she's peed. We have returned the item for a full refund.

Bought this UV black light to detect dog urine on the carpet at home. .This light did not identify any human or dog urine. Big disappointment with this product. Appears to be well made, metal body and lots of lights, but it never worked as expected and advertised.

This is the second lamp I have bought for pet urine detection around the house. The first one didn't work (not from this company) so I was hesitant to buy elsewhere. I'm glad I did it because it really works! Not only did I find all the pet urine in the house, but I also realized that I didn't clean the bathroom very well! This thing is amazing! Highly recommended! But definitely wear glasses, because you can't do without them. Or rather, you can't see it without them.

I've spent a lot of time researching these products looking for something that would light up cat pee. While most articles state "365-385 nm" as the wavelength, I have not been able to find a product that performs well on this criterion.
