Great for protecting valve extenders

These aluminum wheel inserts did a great job of stabilizing my valve extenders on van tires. The rubber inserts had to be smeared with some dish soap to get them into the holes on the wheels. I've attached a photo to show what they look like once installed.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

I recommend this product

High quality thick rubber, yes I have 2 stabilizers and they are thick elastic rubbers. The hole in my wheel is 1 3/4", so I trimmed it down a bit and it fits snugly and very neatly in my opinion. I've never found inserts for my wheel size so I got them to work. Picture below .I recommend this product.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • There are flaws

Fits Alcoa Aluminum 22.5 wheel holes

Fits Alcoa Aluminum 22.5 wheel holes fairly well. Used it to support the air line for the dual tire pressure equalization system where it runs from the outer wheel to the inner wheel. Done clean, looks like a setup and keeps the air line from moving very well.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Functionality

Good product plus installation instructions

These fit the holes on a Ford F53 chassis with 22.5" chrome wheels. Here is an installation tip. Spray a dry PTFE lubricant (made by CRC or WD40) on the rubber valve stem stabilizer before attempting to install it. This makes the assembly process much easier and the rubber grommet fits much better.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • So far so good

Basic items with rigid valve stem extensions.

I measured the hole in my wheel to be 2.5 inches and these rubber bushings fit perfectly. They provide excellent stabilization for the new rigid valve stem extensions on our Class C van. Installed over the valve stem extension and in the corresponding wheel bore, the rubber bushing is sealed after installing the chrome wheel sim. Don't worry about it vibrating while driving.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Only available in white

Matching type - rods

valve extenders on my 2020 International Hit aluminum rims twice. I followed that. The "lightweight holes" in the rims are 2.25 inches in size. I bought this product because it claims to fit 2" to 2.25" diameter holes. When installing, I saw that the OD of the rubber was not a snug fit to the ID of the holes. Luckily the lips are big enough to prevent movement. I've since installed a TPMS gauge as you can see in the picture so don't think anything is moving anywhere especially when the wheel…

Snaps right into tires and wheels

These fit my 2005 Class A Itasca with drilled aluminum wheels. I threaded and pushed it through the hole and you can hear the trailing edge snap into place. My old valve extensions sheared off at the trailing edge of the wheel holes causing a slow leak. No longer. Replaced valve extensions and used this product. I'm relieved that I get good pressure readings on all tires and that the valve extensions are protected. I received the front tire extensions with a kit that I received separately. I…
