These are nice bright lights but the remote and timer aren't very good. Night. There are no dice. They stay on for 6 hours after the timer is set, but they never turn on the next day. The remote will only work if you are less than 6 feet away and point it DIRECTLY at the battery. There's almost no point in having a remote control unless you put the battery in a hard-to-reach spot. I bought 2 strings of 50 colored bulbs. I really like how they are battery powered. There are 8 modes - I prefer to leave them on all the time, this is the 8th mode and you have to keep pressing until you get to #8 - #9 to turn it off.
