Saw something like this at a friend's and had to have it. They are thick like regular candles and have a small oscillating piece of plastic as the flame. The light is quite realistic but the candles look a bit sterile (no melted wax). They also make a slightly sweet noise, almost like a second hand, which is not in rhythm, it's barely perceptible, but in the silence it's present, like a second hand. I will buy more. I love that I can charge it and control it with the remote.

I love that they are rechargeable, look waxy on the outside, look realistic enough from a distance, and cast light on the wall. There's a faint clicking sound from the plastic flame hitting the hole it's in, which is annoying for irritable people like me lol. The color is TERRIBLE. They're as terribly orange as the sodium streetlights across America. I hate that. They should be a warm yellow. I walk but the color doesn't suit me.

I was concerned that the packaging and description did not state that the power adapter was not included and had to be ordered separately. Not being a high tech guy, I wasn't sure which adapter would work with this set. I was ready to return the order by 1/13/20 when I was advised to order a Hollovik adapter. Now I'm sure this adapter will work with the kit, I ordered it. Autbey misinformation about this product.

First, I like that they are rechargeable. The temperature of the light they emit is realistic. To create a flame effect instead of the wick there is a small piece in the shape of a flame and when you turn on the candle it sways and trembles like a real flame. Another cool feature is the remote control that comes pre-programmed so no syncing is required. Simply remove the plastic latch protecting the remote's battery and you're good to go. They are simply beautiful. It came with no instructions, but the remote control pretty much speaks for itself. There are two modes in which you can choose Candle (flame flickering) or Light (no flickering). Light mode doesn't work, but I don't want to use flicker-free mode.
