Type of review

I really like this thing because I am very expressive with my hands. It's there when I need to advance a slide and it's out of the way when I talk with my hands. The device has a funny shape which makes it not as obvious where you are pointing when you use the laser pointer, so get ready to point to the backs of people's heads and at the ceiling a few times before you aim at the screen. Also up and down instead of left and right to advance slides is not very intuitive. The button to advance to…

Pros
  • Color choices available
Cons
  • The remote may not have a timer function

Great simple item for the price

All this little baby does is move slides forward and move them backwards. It has a nice bright laser in it also, which is handy. The charge lasts and lasts. It has been perfect for classroom use, and has worked great for several months now.

Pros
  • Compatible with Keynote
Cons
  • The rechargeable battery may not last for long presentations

Favorite Clicker Ever!

My favorite presentation clicked I’ve ever used! I have an older MacBook Pro that some remotes don’t work with but this one works flawlessly! AND it has a great design and lets me be use it ‘hands free’. Highly recommend!

Pros
  • Satisfaction guaranteed
Cons
  • The USB receiver may be incompatible with certain laptops

Handy on Construction Site

As a superintendent I frequently need to point to something overhead that is out of reach. The laser beam is bright and strong enough to reach up to 50ft or so, depending on the ambient lighting. The size is convenient to keep in your pocket so it is always handy. Fits nicely on end of finger. I recommend it. Good value and useful

Pros
  • Intuitive laser pointer
Cons
  • The remote may not work well in brightly lit rooms

Using as the Ultimate Cat Toy

Bright light, comfortable to operate. A typical laser pointers has a little metal button that digs into my thumb and doesn’t stay on, but this device has a large button that is easy to push and hold. I didn't test the presentation features, but as a laser pointer, it is awesome!Update nov 2021: still works, battery still charges, still holds good charge, and cat still loves it!

Pros
  • Compatible with most laptops
Cons
  • The rechargeable battery may need to be replaced frequently

Works well for my opinion

I have been happy with this product. I use this to teach, and I am able to walk about the room while advancing my presentation, and I never have to worry about setting the clicker down and walking away - it's always on my hand.I do not have full use of the hand that is wearing the clicker, since I have it on the palm side of my hand so that my thumb can reach the buttons. But I have some use of the fingers, which is better than a normal clicker that you have to hold.

Pros
  • Allows presenters to add humor and gesture
Cons
  • The USB receiver's red light may be distracting during presentations

This is a simple device to make your day easier. Great design. I even was able to hook it up to my lanyard. The remote may require a lot of pressure to click.

Great tool!: my feedback

I love that I am able to walk around my classroom while going over the lessons. I am not stuck behind my desk. The USB plug in broke, but I sent an email about a replacement and got a response the same day about them sending me a new one! Great customer service!

Pros
  • Can work from a distance
Cons
  • The remote may be prone to accidental drops

Died in a year - my new review

I bought the remote last year in september, which makes it a month over 1 year of use, and it is officially died today. Battery is completely dead.If the life span is longer, it is pretty good clicker.

Pros
  • Improves audience attention
Cons
  • The remote may require frequent recalibration

Just works on my review.

I paired this via bluetooth with a Dell XPS 13, running Ubuntu Linux. I've often had to troubleshoot presentation remote modes to find the one that works, or even map button presses on the remote to specific keypresses. I didn't have to do anything with this remote; it just worked, out of the box, with every presentation type I through at it, from reveal.js to LibreOffice to google slides. Having it as a ring means I don't drop it mid presentation, either!

Pros
  • Reduces unnecessary body movements during presentation
Cons
  • The remote may not have a scroll wheel for navigating presentations

Best PPT remote! - my new review

Even though it looks different than most remotes, it has a much greater range than more expensive models. And, the unique design really is handy once you get used to it being on your finger. Would definitely buy again!

Pros
  • User-friendly and intuitive
Cons
  • The rechargeable battery may not be eco-friendly

Small but great for my opinion

I have small hands and even then it fits well, very convenient especially when I lecture with papers in my hands. This small device give a lot of freedom. I also love the little pull out piece that goes into the hard drive. It is easy to pull out and replace, plus it’s a good reminder that I need to replace it back into the device bc of the space left behind. (Hopefully that didn’t confuse u). I highly recommend this product.

Pros
  • Makes infinite scrolling possible
Cons
  • The USB receiver may be difficult to install

Not worth it good for me

I purchased this because of it's discreet profile and in theory it's a great buy, it feels quite ergonomic and intiitive. But when it comes to actuwl performance the sensor throw on this thing is garbage. Maybe in a very small meeting room but otherwise it couldn't connect to a computer 20ft away. I purchased a more traditional remote for cheaper that did laps around this thing, so I'd go with one of those.

Pros
  • Time-saving
Cons
  • The remote may be too loud when clicking

Works well, no issues

This device works well and it was easy to set up. I have already used it several times and it makes presentations a breeze! As someone else pointed out the buttons are not intuitive for forward and reverse on presentations. This was not a deal breaker for me. I simply turned the ring around so that the laser pointer (which I do not use) is pointing into the palm of my hand (see pic). The raised stud on one of the buttons moves the slides forward properly. With the ring reversed, moving the thumb

Pros
  • Enhances audience interaction
Cons
  • The rechargeable battery may not hold a charge for long periods of time

Great Functionality & Price

I must admit that when I saw this product, my first thought was "I can send this back easily enough.”As a teacher I’ve gone through several Kensington remotes that are really expensive and break when you drop them - which I’ve done several times. After several weeks, this remote has done everything I’d expect it to do. Good battery life. Comfortable to use. Great product!

Pros
  • Lightweight and portable
Cons
  • The USB receiver may be hard to remove from your laptop

Works great, and easy to keep up with!

I needed a slide advancer for class that would work with Google Slides, as that is where I build all of my classroom presentation slideshows (for convenience).I saw this slide advancer while searching through some far more expensive styles. I love that it can't go onto my finger until I've removed the computer plug in, and that when I've removed it from my finger, I am highly likely to remember the computer plug in because of the gap in the ring. (So far, I have not left the room without my…

Pros
  • Provides consistent presentation flow
Cons
  • The USB receiver may cause interference with other wireless devices

My New Favorite! on my review.

I LOVE THIS! I have dropped so many different remotes over the years it's ridiculous. About once every 6 months I need another one because I dropped and broke the one I had. Ugh. And the batteries just keep getting used up. But this little dynamo keeps going and going. I use it a solid 7 hours a day, and so far (after two weeks) it doesn't need charging yet (I turn it off before I go home). Package said the charge lasts about a week, so this is a bonus! Super easy plug-and-play, and very bright

Pros
  • Reduces stress during presentations
Cons
  • The remote may not have enough buttons for advanced presentations

Great Clicker, Convenient to Use

I'm a teacher and use this in class to be able to walk around and still progress any slides. It is a simple design and easy to use. I like the ring design because previously I would walk around with a remote-style clicker and inevitably set it down somewhere and lose it. This one just stays in my hand! Love it!

Pros
  • Easy and comfortable grip
Cons
  • The USB receiver may not fit all USB ports snugly

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy to use in my review

This is a great remote and not too cumbersome to hold all the time.I like that I don't need to put it down and lose it during a presentation. The only downfall is that the remote needs to be in direct line of sight of the computer.I cannot walk away very far away from my computer. Not terrible just wish it had a farther line of sight.

Pros
  • Durable, long-lasting
Cons
  • The USB receiver may not work with all operating systems
