I unpacked an already defective player, the lid has 2 broken hinges, the platter is warped and won't turn. Very disappointed

The other day my granddaughter stumbled across a pile of vinyl records that also contain a book to learn to read. After a long review of what players are available I settled on this player. I couldn't choose a better player, perfect for our needs. the turntable is great we even danced to one of our slow songs great night would recommend to everyone you won't find a better turntable on the market especially for the price.

We've resorted to the "nickel on top" method and that helps some, but not always. I like to burn to a flash drive, except that it doesn't separate tracks, but that's acceptable. I really want this thing to work. I have a collection of vinyl records and the USB port allows me to record tracks and it's a lot easier than those that plug directly into the USB port and use the Audacity software on your PC. Unfortunately this is the second one I got and they just can't get it to work properly, the first one didn't start the whole thing and this one doesn't use the basic start and stop function.
