Reliable and Strong Fastener Solution

These tapcons are a game changer when it comes to fastening concrete surfaces. They are robust and durable, and they never lose their grip. Their compatibility with most drill bits is an added advantage. The only downside is that they are slightly pricier than other brands. Nevertheless, they are worth every penny. I highly recommend these tapcons to anyone looking for an industrial-strength fastener solution for their construction and repair needs.

Pros
  • reliable, strong, compatible
Cons
  • slightly pricey

What I need for Concrete Screws

I used these to attach the gazebo through the decking to the concrete base. Just finished a few weeks ago. There have already been Santa Ana winds and the gazebo is not moving at all. The bolts seemed very strong. They took a bit of torque to screw them in with a foot length socket wrench. But it made her very strong.

  • Concrete Screws
Cons

Works well but 4 inches is too long for horizontal use.

I used these to screw on a pallet rack at work. I should have bought an inch shorter. They work, but this size is too big for the Tapcon technique. You need a very long drill bit to do deep rough work when applied horizontally to clear space and dust. I ended up with a few that I couldn't quite get through. If you go horizontal, you might not have to fight as hard with the dust left in the hole.

Pros
  • Screws
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
