Unlike other wool yarns

I have several different colors of this yarn and they are all great, but for some reason this particular color is not very comfortable to work with. It feels stiffer and denser than others. The color should not be related to the material. But somehow that's the only difference I know of as others have the same brand name and all. ?

Pros
  • Weight: #4 Worsted (Medium)

too scratchy: Knitting & Crochet

I got this to make loofah washcloths that can't be washed and collect germs (fu). The result is even worse than a washcloth. It was also difficult for me to work with him. It's so rough it sticks to itself. At first I tried to knit it with a nice pattern, but there was no point, the texture of the yarn just made the pattern invisible. Good part but.absorbent.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • so far so good

Difficult to work with Knitting & Crochet

Well I just started making tea towels and it was very difficult to work with. Easy to tie and also easy to tear. I'll keep seeing if I can do something about it, but I'm not sure. The color is beautiful, and if I can solve all the problems, I think it will be very beautiful, but things are tough. At the moment I would not buy it again nor would I recommend it to anyone. Okay so I tried again and used a bigger hook (5mm) and also tried crocheting a looser loop and that seemed to make the job…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New Competitors

Nice and useful

Like many other crocheters or knitters I love to see and feel lots of beautiful yarns but never get the chance to use them. A few years ago a friend gave me some Scrubbies and last Christmas I decided to add knitted Scrubbies to the homemade Christmas gifts I give to friends. I first tried glitter yarn and was very happy with the results but a bit disappointed with the limited color choices at my local craft store. I saw this multicolored, shaggy yarn there, but I wondered if the fact that it…

Pros
  • Best of my niche
Cons
  • I'll add later
