A knitting dream in the crochet department

Bought for my elderly aunt. She created a storm for her big children and was very difficult to find. She loves how easy they are to use. She loves these.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • No show

Good yarn, light and soft

Quite soft and pleasant to the touch yarn. A cheap yet comfortable alternative to real wool. I've used it in amigurumi (knitted toys), not the things you wear, but whenever I need this color for my scarf or sweater I will definitely use it without hesitation. If you look at it - I would say it will probably be good enough.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Updates

Too thin and knotted when working.

Yes, this yarn is soft. But what a pain in the ass to work with. I bought 7 balls in 4 different colors. Trying to crochet with this yarn, which unravels with every stitch, was like trying to save the ocean with a paper cup. Aggravating? The word cannot even begin to describe it. I've been crocheting since I was 14, now I'm 64. This yarn is terrible. yes soft Very very thin and the yarn broke when I tried to put the needle through it was awful.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Very good for acrylic

I admit I can be a yarn snob and I usually prefer to work with natural fibers. I made something for my mom where it just didn't matter (but the color definitely did) so I tried Red Heart Soft because the toast shade was just right. How pleasant it was to be amazed that this yarn is not a natural fiber at all, BUT it worked perfectly, it feels so beautifully soft and even has a slight sheen. My sister now wants the same for herself so I went back and bought a few more shades for future products.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some mistakes

5 stars for looks, 2 stars for functionality

I use a lot of skeins per blanket. This is the most attractive brown yarn I have ever seen and its softness is great for acrylics. The frequent splitter and fuzzy effect is all the more disappointing. I had some initial crashes with this project and had to undo the first line a few times. Well, you can certainly tell. The work in this section looks a bit messy - it does not forgive mistakes. I have found that when I switch to this yarn I end up knitting tighter than usual just to avoid this…

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive
