CV Joint Lube That Works

Since using Red Line CV Joint Lube in the CV joints of the rear drive axle on my Porsche Cup race car, I've had to change axles half as often.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Big and bulky

BUBBA ARMY GOOD STUFF

I heard about Redline products at Bubba the Love Spong. They are not paid endorsers on the show, and Bubba speaks highly of their products. I got this grease to repack the front wheel bearings in my dragster.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Great for race cars

I have a race car and this grease is used everywhere. I use it primarily for packing wheel bearings, but it also comes in handy for things like hoses and derailleur bushings. Also, it changes color from bright red to an unpleasant brown when overheated, which is a great feature that makes inspecting bearings a lot easier. I highly recommend this lube and always keep a few tubes on hand.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Some little things

quality goods! in lubricants

The BEST synthetic lube I have ever used. Works wonders in constant velocity joints. It might be overkill for simple wheel bearings, but I use it anyway. BTW I started using it on our HEAVY duty race cars and there it performed better than some others I've used in the past. I actually like it better in constant velocity joint tanks, but although there is equal amount of lube in the tank and tube, the price of the tub is often higher.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • The list will be long.

The best lube there is?

I'm not sure if this is the best lube available, maybe it will share first place. I use this and another brand for about the same price (but different color) and both do what lube is supposed to do by holding the lube in place so they last as long as possible due to minimal wear. However, I have not had to replace any parts that use oilers on my 20 year old snow blower or garden tractor. Obviously it pays to use the best lube there is.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • not as good as it says

Excellent lube with many uses

Redline products have always worked well for me. This lube seems great. It has not yet flaked off in the cartridge like Valvoline Synthetic. What a mess as thinner oil leaked out of the cartridge and that was it. The specification of this Redline lube means I can use it for most of my needs. I'm a little worried about my snowmobile's performance in cold weather. The company said over the phone that it was compatible with black molybdenum grease. I use it in an RV on a Ford chassis, in front ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • understandable even for the elderly
Cons
  • worries me

Good things are best in oils and fluids

I used this front wheel bearing grease when repairing brakes on my Ford Lightning 03. Looks and feels like a great grease but I didn't expect less from Redline products. Why not spend the extra 3/4$ on a high quality synthetic lube from a high tech company instead of regular petroleum lube (which I've used many times and actually works great most of the time) if that's what you need . not, but every few years, and the performance of synthetic grease is far superior to that of traditionalโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • No automatic transmission

Another premium product from Redline Oil

Like Redline Oil's other products, this grease is the best product. No hype or high demands on them, just great products. I use this for any application that needs lubrication unless the equipment manufacturer has a spec that is outside the scope of the intended product. Retains excellent viscosity even in very cold weather such as I use for snow plows and heavy duty snowmobile mounts and many other warmer weather applications. Easy to pump through a grease gun in the same cold weather. Willโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction

  • No Insurance
