Red Lion 14942735 Multi-Use Pump Review

Rainwater gets into my downstairs laundry when it's still freezing cold on the floor. If it rains a lot and I'm not at home, this water will reach the finished part of the lower level. I like this pump because it can pump water up to 1/4 inch and will only pump when water is present. The pump checks every three minutes. Now I can leave town and relax knowing that the Red Lion has my back.

Very disappointed with Red Lion's slow water removal! The pump runs for less than 00:20 a minute and then stops. I wait 01:12 and then it turns on again 00:44 less than a minute and then stops. I disconnected and then reconnected and it works for 00:15 less than a minute. I need to remove 4.5 inches of basement water but this pump just won't pump. The manufacturer claims it should run for 3 minutes before stopping and checking the water level. It now stops at 10:00 (10 minutes) at a depth of 4…

I have a Red Lion 2 inch water pump with a Honda engine so I am the previous owner of a Red Lion product. I didn't need to use the 2" fuel pump very often, but when I did need to use it I was very happy with it.
