This is the most effective product I have found for increasing the alkalinity in my aquarium. I recommend this alongside other brands.

Works well as a 2 in 1 basic supplement for reef aquariums. I didn't want to mess with buying separate carb and bicarbonate products and then premixing them. This liquid product is easy to use and spreads quickly in the aquarium. I originally bought a Foundation A+B+C pack but my reef uses up my alk much quicker than my mg and ca, so this time I bought a bigger bottle of alc.

Two months ago my aquaristics expert at the local store recommended I discontinue dosing of various Kent products and instead use Red Sea Foundation A and Foundation B for my reef aquarium I am switching dosing daily (one day Foundation A, the next day Foundation B).
