Works well - Ignition does not close properly.

It works well and when you buy a stereo that you can turn on and off yourself it doesn't really matter but it's a bit annoying that they didn't hook up the ignition perfectly. That shouldn't be difficult.

No Instructions - Radio Wiring Harnesses

I've bought several radio wiring harnesses and this is the ONLY one that comes with terrible instructions. There are five other wires in the harness that are not listed in the "Instructions". Don't waste your money on this product. This is a complete joke. These harnesses should be easy to install, but they complicate things.

No car and car electronics manuals

Product does what it is supposed to. It customizes the car wiring harness for use with custom wiring harnesses. The only problem is that there are no instructions and the red ignition wire and orange backlight wire are misleading. At least in my 2012 Volkswagen Passat SE, the radio's wiring harness does not include ignition and lighting wires, so they have to be connected elsewhere in the car. even after turning off the car. If the user manual had been there and pointed out this problem, then…

Connects but there's more to understand

I used this to fit and retrofit a radio on my 2011 VW Tiguan. I also had an issue where the stereo was on all the time. The wire harness works well for connecting speakers, ground, and 12 volts DC, but not so well for connecting lights and accessories. On my Tiguan, the car wiring harness does not contain an auxiliary wire or a lighting connector. The red and yellow wires are constantly hot so I had to hook up additional hardware from somewhere else in the car. For the lighting I would have to…
