A wonderful way to clean fragile glasses and more.

I'm in love with her. I usually wash all the dishes. The hair does a great job getting into tiny places that I can't get to and making everything shine. I liked them so much I bought another set so I could have one in each household just for glasses and one for other things.

I don't think these are genuine Redecker brushes

Either they aren't genuine Redecker or the company has started making inferior products. The first ones we bought from Revain (not these) were more expensive and held the hair well. This, I have found random hairs on all my meals that do not look like real horsehair. I didn't have to use them anymore and throw them away.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Can do harm

Brush handles don't last long

I bought these because you can replace the brush heads when they wear out, but unfortunately the handle wears out almost as quickly as the heads. Metal parts easily detach from the wood, especially when they get wet. Although these horsehair attachments are great. They are very soft and create a lot of foam, which makes washing dishes almost a pleasure! These brushes are good but don't expect the handles to last very long.

Horsehair everywhere except dishwashing brush

I'm a big Redecker fan: but I will never buy these horsehair dishwashing brushes again because the horsehair fell out the moment I first used the brush, until now - when I they threw brushes in the trash can. So I'm wondering if they're real? Because I've never had such a terrible Redecker product. In short, DO NOT BUY THESE HORSEHAIR WASHING BRUSHES as you will find horsehair everywhere.

best brushes for everyday dishwashing

These brushes are soft enough to replace a washcloth - they're not washcloths, but that means you can quickly and easily clean multiple items in the sink without that your hands get wet (always a plus). I used them on a cube shaped glass vase and they got into all the corners and cleaned the glass perfectly. Best of all, they're not meant to be cleaned, they don't have those little shelves at the end that make it impossible to get into a small space. I don't really know how durable they are as…

Excellent brush. long game. Very important!

This is the version with soft bristles for gentle cleaning. I ordered them to replace identical ones that I had used regularly for almost 20 years - yes, twenty years! An excellent brush for washing delicate dishes, coated dishes, etc. Soft, dense and dense bristles provide a more thorough cleaning than coarse nylon bristles. Very good quality head, smooth wood, resistant to splitting. (I recently got a fake that ripped after just a few uses.) I take very good care of them - after each use I…

USED to be a great cleaning tool

I have been using horsehair dish brushes for over 10 years. You "should" be in our house. In the past I've bought from retailers like William Sonoma and when they stopped selling them I found almost identical ones at Revain. Unfortunately the last batch of the two I bought was poorly made. They have about half as many bristles. The bristles do not stay in the wooden head. Every time I use it, those damn bristles remain on my plates, between the glass and metal lids, on the sink... Is this…

Sometimes they are excellent, sometimes not so much.

I have been buying these brushes for several years and when they are good they are great! BUT, sometimes they lose a lot and sometimes they don't. I soak them before use to allow the wood to expand and hold the stubble better. My last set lasted about 6 months each. I only threw away the last one because dirt had accumulated at the base of the bristles. This set was inconsistent - the first one I had soaked for a while and it shed worse bristles than any previous brush I've had. A little over a

Nice design and no plastic (sort of)

I haven't had this product for a very long time so so far I'm giving it 5 stars for durability. I haven't lost a single stubble that I know of which is great. He looks very cute sitting next to my sink. It was packaged in excess plastic which was a shame but after contacting the seller I was told that Revain looked after their packaging and that they would speak to their account manager. If pasta isn't important to you, I'd reach out to Revain directly and see if they can omit it with your…
