Description of REED Instruments SD 4207 Thermo Anemometer Temperature

Measures air velocity (fpm, m/s, kph, mph and knots) and air temperature. Contact temperature measurement with type J/K thermocouple option. Low friction ball-bearing, rotating vane probe ensures high accuracy readings. Real-time data logger with integral SD memory card. Includes vane probe, hard carrying case and batteries.

Can measure flow but any additional function is useless/not activated

It's like the instructions were written for a different product or are 20 years out of date. I can't set the date according to the instructions, I can't write the dates - nothing. Technical support doesn't help much to send the device back to REED. We bought 2 and both behave the same way so I doubt it's a defect. Incredibly annoying.
