The sizing was perfect although it turns out that if you order a different size category than toddlers it doesn't come with a back strap as advertised. Sent back because they were looking for slippers with straps on the back.

I ordered a green child size 12 and although the item description says back straps were included they are NOT. My son still needs the back straps (he's only 4) so they're useless without them. Not as advertised!

I can only say what my 2.5 year old likes/dislikes: he doesn't like the feel of the strap between his toes and for some reason the whole shoe is too small and the elastic part is out of place the show on his leg is tight for his long leg; although there is enough room on the insole where his foot would be.
