🐠 Enhanced Aquarium Flow Control: Reef Octopus Varios-6 Controllable DC Circulation Pump Review

As a hesitant buyer looking through Pet Supplies in Fish & Aquatic Pets, I was disappointed with this product. As a result of using this Aquarium Pump, I found that it was incredibly loud and unreliable. While it did provide some decent circulation, the noise it produced was just too much for me to handle, especially since I keep my tank in my bedroom. Save your money and look for a better option.

I bought this after trying the Ecotech M1. The M1 had plenty of power and a nice controller, but it was noisy. This pump isn't as powerful as the M1, but it's powerful enough for my 125G tank and works almost silently. And it's a lot cheaper!

I've been doing this hobby for 29 years. All this time I had a T4 Velocity (external) until April 2017 when I finished updating my filtering. The 145W Velocity worked well but transferred a lot of heat, necessitating a cooler. The cooler also turned on in winter. Winter in California to be honest.
