I can't quantify the benefits of this product other than knowing that it contains beneficial bacteria which is a good thing! Good price and the product seems very porous, that's the whole point.

Half of the package was crushed to dust. But the box looked good, so it was packed so quickly. I can crush them very well with my finger, they remind me of cotton candy, very soft.

Great product. I used a competitor and was happy with the results, but was unhappy with the space their huge blocks were taking up in my swamp. They're much easier to deal with, each about the size of a twink. None of them arrived broken and they were easy to install in my swamp which worked for me. I would buy again.

These are in my swamp on top of a tank of sea water. You are better than I thought. I like that I can fold them very nicely. I actually assembled them to raise my skimmer. In my opinion it is cheaper and more efficient than a skimmer stand. They are also quite small and fit in a few required places. I recommend this product.
