Works great, but the diameter is slightly (round) larger than the halogen bulb (flatter)

halogen bulb replacement. Much colder and less powerful. The only problem is that they are larger in diameter than halogen bulbs, so the UV protection doesn't turn back on. Generally not a problem as the LEDs don't protect against UV and for me as they are under something but if your puck lights are open then not being able to return the cover can be an aesthetic issue.

Check Socket - good lighting, great price

Had to modify them slightly to fit my microwave sockets. The sockets are rectangular and the bulbs do not stay in because these bulbs are sealed with transparent silicone rubber. I was able to easily cut them with a razor blade as shown in the picture and now they fit perfectly. Excellent, warm light and dimmable! Hopefully trimming these bulbs won't affect long-term reliability. Perhaps longer pins or a better match to the halogen bulb profile will raise the rating from 4 to 5 stars. It didn't

Great LEDs, perfect fit, nice color

Fantastic product. We have halogen washing machines on one side of the kitchen under the cupboards. I added LED lights on the other side; Instead of replacing the halogen lamps with suitable ones, I found these lamps in the same heat. I gave them a shot and it turns out they saved me hours removing current washers and installing LED lighting. The bulbs are slightly larger than the G8 bulb they replace (Fig. 1) but are housed with some conviction (Fig. 2). The lighting is fantastic and the color
