Don't do this on brake controls

As mentioned this was due to the brakes not locking properly. I was able to take it apart and connect it properly, but what a pain in the ass.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

worked as advertised

Save the day for me. I had to rent a trailer and I had to have a 7 pin. My truck had the 6. That helped and they all lived happily ever after. :)

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Negative gift

Connected wrong? Best in Brake Control

Although I can't tell which is wrongly connected, this adapter or my trailer. When I plugged it in, it 100% blocked my trailer brakes. which does not happen with other connections/adapters.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Volume

Factory wiring wrong Check brakes!

I installed a new brake controller. Driven me crazy trying to figure out why my electric brakes weren't working. I spent over an hour troubleshooting to find the blue and black wires in this new connector out of the box. Luckily it's supposed to be disassembled and I was able to fix it with a screwdriver. God I was mad at all the time I wasted trying to figure this out and fix it. Hope this helps someone. I suppose it could have been a disaster if the person hadn't checked the electric brakes…

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
