Refernet Review

We use refernet as our main means of referring customers for advice services at an area level. It is easy to set up within your own organisation (we have over 100 users) so it's not difficult for staff members who are new into the role. The service has been very reliable when we've needed help/advice during office hours - no need to call out! Easy reporting mechanism too. I am an adviser who works for CAF at Manchester City Council - this is what we use every day but there's nothing wrong about that! It could perhaps do more as far as making it easier/faster when people submit referal requests through CAB systems; sometimes you can see what jobs your team has scheduled within 24 hours- 48 HOURS of submitting request so if anything happens then hopefully our staff pick up sooner than expected :) We've seen some great outcomes here too where things turn out well…

The ease of use for both users who are making recommendations as well those receiving them is fantastic! It's also easy enough that anyone can set one up without needing specialist training/support staff etc - just go it alone if you want (but I'd recommend getting support!). We've had no issues so far but have been told there will always likely still some bugs around somewhere out-of sight we haven't found yet though!!
