Dimmable or non-dimmable. Here's the question I'm asking. Continue reading.

I've never tried lightbulbs, never screwed them in. I wanted dimmable bulbs, they had good reviews and the Revain listing said they were dimmable. When they arrived I took the bulb out of the box to read the fine print and the bulb says 'do not use with dimmers'. I put it back in the box and start looking at the label on the box. "Dimmable" is written on the front. The back says "This lamp is not compatible with a dimmer". So I think if you want to know for sure if they are actually dimmable…

Bright light in fridge

My fridge is about 15 years old and had an old lightbulb. That old lightbulb eventually blew out, so I went with LED this time. I ordered these 6 LED bulbs and when they arrived I immediately installed one. All I can say is WOW. An absolutely wonderful light that makes it a lot easier to see everything in the fridge. Wake up instantly

I firmly believe LED bulbs save money. I've replaced all the lightbulbs in my house every month for almost 8 years and saved money with electric bandits. I think the only light bulb in my house that doesn't have an LED is for the microwave, but I don't know what type it uses. Buying LEDs may cost more money, but they are worth it in the long run.
