This is my third tripod in the Regetek 65 inch HD tripod group. What a find! I agree with others' positive comments and would definitely recommend this tripod to anyone looking for a very solid video and DSLR platform camera.

2 of the 3 legs slide in and out easily even when locked in place. They slowly worsened over the course of 3 months. I use it weekly to record church services. Now he is unusable. There is almost no resistance even with the locking lever in place. I don't know how to do that, so it's basically just a tripod with an extension. well up to about 3 feet. It's a shame because it's well made, just poorly designed to block the legs.

Do not buy this product. I received my receipt 3 days ago and came without a QR sign. No big deal, I must have missed the fine print that says the QR plate is sold separately and that any generic QR will do. NOT CORRECT! The width of the corner trim is not large enough. As you can see in the picture there is scrap on the QR plate when I tried to knock it out with a hammer. Why Hammer? If it doesn't fit, get a bigger hammer. hahaha :-) Unfortunately the legs were the real reason I wanted it.

I have just received this Regetek tripod and I have to say that whilst I have not tested it in the field yet it is amazing and worth every penny. Seems to be extremely durable, the fluid head moves very smoothly and reminds me of more expensive options for a fraction of the cost. All this and fairly light, or as light as you like without sacrificing durability, and the travel case provides extra protection for your new sticks.

I gave an overall rating of 5 stars as this tripod is damn strong, well built and very valuable as I come from a life story where I bought a $15 tripod. So I was a bit wary of the price and what I would get upon delivery. I'm keeping it though as I'm NOT taking a chance with my newly purchased Canon, Nikon and new 4K camcorders. Wobbly when fully extended - almost forget panning or tilting at full height, the thing just wobbles. That's a little surprising, because all sliding joints and locks are made of plastic. The central truss is weak, feels like it will break first. A tilt lock is more like a tilt fracture; Tilting your head as hard as you can with the latch is not difficult. Pan. Panning is a joke.
