I like the sturdy, sturdy frame of this tripod. It is very stable and can be attached with either steel spikes or plastic feet. It's primarily made of aluminum, although the connections from one part to the other are either bakelite or plastic. I also really liked the customer service. I was able to email Regetek and ask many questions before purchasing this tripod. The product is designed for use at temperatures from -20 to +70 degrees Celsius. It is not recommended to be used below 40 degrees Fahrenheit as some plastic compounds become brittle at lower temperatures. I understand this is a new product and Regetek customer service was kind enough to answer my questions.
