Hood lock on cable

This product replaces the cheap original lock, very simple and direct assembly. hope it holds up. Full metal with set screws, just the way it should be.

Should have a good cable upgrade

The only option if you break a Honda bonnet release cable is to either replace the entire cable. It feels extremely secure and professional and will certainly outlive other plastics.

Excellent durable metal replacement

I got this to replace the original manufacturer which was plastic. The way the old one broke left plastic on the stem where the new one bolted in so it took a while to disassemble everything. But once I did, it was very easy to install. Very happy with the price and the parts. Came with a screw

Good quality but difficult to install

Good quality but the included mounting screws have a non-standard hole. The included hex wrench began to slip as soon as the set screws made contact with the shaft. My #2 metric allen wrench appeared to be about the same size as the one that came with it and also slipped off. My #2.5 metric allen wrench was too big. Couldn't find a matching SAE hex key. Finally I used a Torx T8 bit which tightened the set screws fairly well. WAY too much work for a pair of set screws that should have taken 10…
