decent in operation, although the tolerance of the fastening pawl is clearly violated. Once installed, the entire assembly can be shaken with terrifying results. I needed this for a track event and bought it at the last minute. definitely regret it.

The actual mount/mount is just great. Well made and very strong. Hose clamps are terrible. Very thin and cheap. Actually dangerous/spicy for something installed in a car cage. Would have been a 5 star rating if there were better clamps.

Used this on my race car as sanctions regulations state there should be a quick release bracket. It's a decent mount, all aluminum material, quick and easy to install, and it works as it should. As some others have noted, the fit is a bit loose between the two halves, but the thin padding takes care of that without sacrificing function. This mount was 4 times smaller than similar ones so I can do more than that except for a few tiny imperfections. If necessary I will buy more.

Looks good and fits well. I think it goes with almost everything. I have not removed the wheel I put it on but will add it for review after its first ride. Took it out and knocked the hell out of it, and the mount outlasted the fire extinguisher. Note: Be careful that branches cannot get where you put them, the fire extinguisher suffered greatly in narrow paths, it lost pressure because the pressure gauge is bent.
