Ideal solution

I have been using prong collars on my dogs successfully and have enjoyed using them for at least 20 years. Squeezing the prongs together to put on and take off the collars is difficult at best, especially now that my hands are full of arthritis. Also, the constant pressure ends up deforming the teeth, making the collar not as effective and it can come off unexpectedly and dangerously. This closure is the perfect solution. The collar is extremely easy to put on and take off, and the integrity of

The collar looks strong, but maybe it's not original or broken?

We bought this HS training collar two months ago and only use it for walking and training our dog. This collar should be safe and more for the price; However, it was reversed when we walked our dog THREE times. We are very fortunate to have our 5 month old Belgian Malinois still living in our home. I'm not sure why/how did this happen? I still use it but very carefully. I check it all the time to make sure it's safe when I walk the dog. But my husband doesn't trust this collar anymore and…

Training Lifebuoy

If you have a large dog that pulls, this is a lifebuoy. My pup is about 80 pounds and has been going through a period of anxiety. We did a lot of positive training sessions that helped a lot, but he still had no control over his gait. He would fall and bark at people and other dogs on a leash. I was very hesitant to purchase this collar but it came highly recommended and I am very glad I let go of my fear of it and decided to purchase it. You need to make sure it fits and is positioned…

Design needs improvement - DO NOT recommend.

In a nutshell: the collar is well made and easy to put on. However, there are serious design flaws that have caused me to stop using it. The parts that connect the serrated part of the collar are made of flexible leather and will become more flexible over time. This becomes a major problem as one or both sides of the collar will bend outwards meaning the pins will be pointing outwards and not making contact with the dog's neck as intended. This is becoming more and more common as the leather…

EUREKA! best collars

I like this collar. I have long been opposed to putting a collar on my 4 month old pup. Blame it on good old ignorance on my part. It's not that I haven't heard from more experienced dog owners how effective they are at teaching the dog not to pull on the leash. Our Vizsla kept pulling. Just a very energetic pup who is exploring the world which made my walk with her a real nightmare. I was able to take on all the tendencies of the other puppies; gnawed, gnawed on all sorts of things around the…
