Bought this after buying an almost identical older Remington MB-300 which was just great. My old trimmer did everything I needed, was durable, had a long battery life and could even run straight from the charger when the battery died. I loved the thing so much that when it finally disappeared after six full years I immediately looked to the newer MB-200 as a replacement. Unfortunately, this iteration of the Remington trimmer is downright pathetic by comparison. Brand new, it can only be charged

I wish I could give this trimmer more than one star because it's really great - it's simple/easy to use (no need to mess with a dozen various cumbersome appendix) and does what it's done well for. I love it so much I've bought four of these in the last 5 years, knowing full well how trashy the batteries are in this thing.
