💇 Remington Pro 2" Titanium Ceramic Hair Straightener, Blue - Professional Flat Iron with Floating Plates, Smooth Glide - S9632 Review

I'm not sure if I've missed something or if I'm wrong?!?! I really liked my light blue and black Remington, but after 5 years it finally broke. It's still on sale, but I've decided to take a look at the brand. This model does not heat up and leaves huge creases, but does not tear! Strange I know. He comes back. :(

I use it for ironing and curling. I have long hair and wanted wider curls, this worked great. I was worried because it was so cheap but it was really great! no complaints. heats up very quickly, has multiple temperature settings and makes my curls look amazing! --- UPDATE --- I've had this since November 2018 and so far I have it in March 2020. It's still working great! I have recommended it to many friends!

I would give less than one star if I could. It's either a REALLY good fake, or a defective product that can't be returned, or the brand has gone downhill. The outer shell heats up so much while the iron is on that it actually blew my meter and shorted out the iron without my knowledge and got stuck on the HIGHEST HEAT SETTING (which I NEVER use). I've tried several irons, from $200 salon irons to pharmacy irons, and this is **definitely** my favorite purchase. This flat iron is twice as wide and it only takes me five or six minutes to comb my hair down to the middle of my back. It heats up quickly, cools down quickly, is very light and leaves my hair shiny, smooth and shiny. The straightener glides and never snags on my hair, which I am very keen to avoid. Would buy again, highly recommend.

Does not heat up to 455 degrees. I have the same 2 Remington irons with up/down temperature control buttons that work great. I assume it's the same except for the knob and knobs to control the temperature, that it works the same way. Not this case. Very disappointed.

The design of the temperature controller is not very good. The "wheel" for adjusting the temperature is right where your hands are and it gets very, very hot. temperature, otherwise it will burn your hair.

This is my second Remington straightener. I used my first one almost every day for over 5 years. My hairstylist said this straightener hasn't messed up or browned my hair, so for now I'll continue to use the Remington product rather than buying an expensive straightener.
