I would give less than one star if I could. It's either a REALLY good fake, or a defective product that can't be returned, or the brand has gone downhill. The outer shell heats up so much while the iron is on that it actually blew my meter and shorted out the iron without my knowledge and got stuck on the HIGHEST HEAT SETTING (which I NEVER use). I usually set the marker to 15 (the highest is 30) and set it to 15 when I style my hair. While styling my hair, it got overheated and I didn't realize it until it was too late, so the back of my head pretty much burned out. I'm not exaggerating, I only had to cut 5 inches off some sections because my hair was a total mess. ever or this product is garbage. Sorry, probably not worth the risk. On the plus side, my new layers of bangs and face framing that I had to trim tonight are pretty pretty.
