I put the batteries in and it worked! So far there are no problems. Make sure you get the same remote control model for your specific TV.

Remote control works great.

I have a Scepter 4K Smart TV and about a week ago the remote control stopped working for no reason. I bought this remote control from Amazon, put the batteries in and it worked straight away with my TV. Brilliant!

Third party replacement

Remote control works with Scepter Smart TV. This is an exact copy but the blue lights do not work. You can't connect the remote control so you lose Google function. If anyone knows how to connect this remote control please let me know.

it only works for about 3-4 weeks and then it just stops

i will have my third remote control in less than 3 months. idk y but they just stop working for no reason after about 3 weeks and $20 is a bit much to control the repair as I expect it to last more than 3 weeks.

So hard to set up

I bought a Scepter A55 AndroidTV about a year ago. The remote control it came with was always slow and didn't work very well. Accidentally it stopped working, so I bought the exact same replacement unit. There were no instructions on how to connect this new remote to the TV and I have tried everything I have seen to connect it. I also never write product reviews, so the whole thing was frustrating for me. I have no idea how these other people say they got them working as soon as they got themโ€ฆ
