Not exactly 14ga. More like 16ga

Wire appears to be smaller than advertised. It packs well and does the job, just order a size up if you really need the 14ga.

It's just scrap aluminum wire that will rust if used outdoors.

Bought to rewire trailers. I connected several trailers to it only to have them redone after 6 months because the cable came loose. This wire cost me a lot of time and money because it also damaged electrical components when dissolved. Aluminum wire does not conduct electricity the way copper wire does.

A nice feature is that the characteristics of the wires are printed on the insulation. So you never have to doubt which caliber you have chosen (14 vs. 16 etc.).
