Package came unsealed in a plain envelope. Each battery pouch has been pierced, possibly to make them thinner for shipping. However, two batteries were dead. Thought it was my watch, I decided to check the third battery and the watch worked. Batteries were cheap. I probably got 2 or 3 good ones out of 5. Not quite right, but cheap enough that I didn't want to return the package.

I only use Renata batteries in all my quartz watches. It's a brand founded by a top-notch Swiss manufacturer - in my opinion, that in itself is an unreserved recommendation. I have several watches and sometimes I sell some of them. I've only been using Renata for a few years, they usually last at least two years after fitting and are always fresh. Also, I can easily get hard-to-find and old battery sizes - something I encounter on a regular basis. Great product, worth more than 5 stars!
