The meter worked for 2 months until it stopped working. The batteries are fully charged and the meter shows they are ¼ charged. Checked with a voltmeter, the batteries are fully charged. Attention buyers, this is rubbish.

The meter only showed a full charge and after being kicked out one day it finally started falling. Then, within a few seconds, it went down another bar, and another, and another, until it started blinking between amber and red. Since then, despite being fully charged, it only flashes between yellow and red.

In my experience with this product, knowing when my battery is low doesn't really help me. I installed it in my golf cart. It's still solid green (about 3 bars below full) when my battery is low and I feel like the golf cart is slowing down. It never turns yellow, let alone red, before I go home.

This works for my 48v club car use case, but when the battery is really low it's only two bars. I know two others with the same problem. I've had to fill an old hole to be happy, but I recommend a digital meter that will actually tell you the voltage and add USB ports if you're making a new hole.

Don't waste your money, time and effort buying this Chinese junk! Bought 2 and neither works. Tried connecting them through the ignition key and directly to the battery. I've worked with cars for many years and yes I know what I'm doing. It goes to the show - buy an American! Bring American jobs back to the US! We know how to create quality here.

I hate burning this product but I have no choice. My guess is that like me you are buying this product to connect to your 48v system on a bay cart or other electric powertrain. Vehicle to monitor battery status and prevent deep discharge or damage. In order to reproduce this, the display needs to be calibrated to show a red state as you approach the critical 50% charge, based on industry standard common voltage readings.
