We bought this camera for our 4 year old for Christmas and it's fantastic! She loves it and can figure out how to use it (along with helpful reminders). It comes with an extra layer of protection and the lens cap is removable. Comes with a cute lanyard. The picture quality isn't the best, but for this price and considering the user, it's just great! Definitely recommended as the first children's camera.

You know I can't say enough good things about this. it is so well built. I look like a girl on the outside but my tester is my 4 year old autistic nephew and he loves it. The case protects him if he drops it, the lens cap is great when he's not shooting. The buttons seem easy to use, and in a few days he'll be using them like a pro. small additions to the pictures are cool. My wife hates me for making her a princess. This camera was the perfect gift for my granddaughter. Came in a very sturdy box, well packaged. However, the camera will not recognize it until it is fully charged. So be sure to let it charge before trying to play with it. I was ready to play too soon. There are built-in frames for girls to play with, make faces and love what they "created". We haven't printed the images yet, so I can't comment on the quality of the printed image. However, they love to look at them!
