The brightest night light in the world.

Bought and received quickly. Good packaging. lightweight construction. Bought for camping and CPAP use. When in use, the battery indicators light up light blue along with the output type indicator. If you sleep with a night light, then this product is for you. not much for me It's like being interrogated in your sleep. The machine was barely enough to run CPAP (heating and humidity were turned off once on AC and one night on DC). After 7 hours I reached the last 1/3. Since it is not charged by…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Never worked: Alternators

This item never worked. I tried to plug it in and the lights flickered. We followed the instructions. Then it just stopped working. I have Lycan generators and their customer service has been pretty good. It would be better if they answer emails or chat during the day. The call takes forever. But the thing is, I have to return this product because it is defective. I never managed to connect my phone. It never loaded. Update April 3, 2021: Revain won't let me upload more than one video. Trying…

VERY LOW power consumption and Quality Control PPOR

This panel is LOW. I was surprised. I am currently doing a test with this and another panel. They're both rated for the same output, but the other panel literally produces TWICE more. I've swapped them out for various gauges and devices to ensure the results are accurate and consistent. I will most likely be returning this panel. Very disappointed when I didn't order a 20W panel. Maybe they should just rename it like that. Update next day. I tried very hard to understand whether yesterday's…

Phoneix: robust solar bag for emergencies and outdoor adventures

I was looking for a solar generator for camping and emergencies. The Firefly has always been on my radar, but it didn't have a removable battery. Phoenix does. It's solidly built and had no trouble powering my VR gaming PC when we had a power outage. It also gives you multiple ways to charge, which is handy. Assembly and packaging: The device was packaged quite well. I couldn't find a scratch on the block. Everything you need was included, including a bundle of cables and an instruction manual.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • So far so good

Better than I expected!

Honestly, great system! It packs everything into a logical design while still being easy to use. And the quality is easy to see and feel, with a quality case (not exactly Pelican case quality, but not so cheap that you feel like it's falling apart). It is very sensitive to heat, so having an external solar panel can help. I don't have it, but I haven't overheated yet (assuming it's cold at the moment). That's not enough power to be a miracle, so don't expect it to power your CPAP all night if…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Forget the generator - get the Phoenix Renogi!

Living in Tampa, Florida, I expected the power to go out for a while after a direct hit from Hurricane Irma. We only have 1 million devices that need charging. Two handheld ham radios, two Apple iPads, three cell phones, etc., etc. Florida had fuel problems for almost a week before the storm, so I knew I didn't want to mess around with a portable generator. In addition to the generator itself, you need to get the fuel yourself and gas canisters. All three things are in high demand in the days…
