I would give this product five stars; However, the soap bottle leaked during shipping. The brush works great on the carpet in our RV; and I am sure that I will use it in our apartment as well. The brush is very strong, with stiff bristles. Definitely recommend this product.

It's basically just a bottle of carpet cleaning spray with a broom to rub into the carpet. If there is a small leak, it can be fixed quickly. But don't think of it as a true carpet cleaner. Also, I had to get a third party grip as the one that came with it was broken.

This carpet cleaner worked well although it took several cleanings to really clean the carpet. (It was so dirty that I didn't expect it to be completely clean after one use.) Well as others have said this is a very good solution for carpet stains. It doesn't take any time at all. This seems to save me the hassle of a regular professional carpet cleaning in my office, so it would be worth four times as much to me.
