Description of Repair Bracket Intake Manifold Aluminum

The bracket is unique in design, CNC machined from billet aluminium polished. This is delicate and inevitably wears and causes the actuator motor (V157) to over rotate triggering the P2015 error or associated symptoms. The repair bracket can be installed very easily providing a solid limit for the actuator motor- curing this fault for the life of the vehicle. The bracket can be fitted very simply usually in under 15 minutes with basic tools. It simply attaches to the manifold actuator motor and stops the over rotation which causes the fault.

Didn't fix my car, wasted money

When I tried this automotive repair bracket, it didn't do anything to fix my engine problem .I had high hopes for it but was disappointed with its ineffective results. The only pro is that the product arrived quickly. The con is that it was a total waste of money and didn't help my engine at all..

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • Requires professional installation for optimal results

Useless Junk, Avoid!

My analysis of this product showed that it was poorly made and did not fit as advertised. The bracket was flimsy and could not support the weight of the intake manifold..

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Poor quality, did not fit.

Almost perfect best in Engines & Engine Parts

I installed it myself. This took about 45 minutes. Aside from having to pull out a small retainer and drop a new spring (my fault but I still have the original spring) it worked. The engine code will be erased by itself. My car is a 2011 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI.

Pros
  • Bracket unique in design, CNC machined from polished aluminum
Cons
  • Slightly dented
