I have no complaints about the product so I have to give it five stars. I bought a DVD-RW drive because the computer I bought said it had a DVD-ROM drive. When I got the computer, it actually had a DVD-RW drive. So I didn't need this CD. Sorry guys I can't give an honest review as I don't have space to install it. Maybe later when I need and install it, then maybe I can add something to this review.

I'm definitely not a techie and found the installation very easy after finding instructions for my Dell Optiplex 7010 desktop on a Dell. site. It took a maximum of 5 minutes. The hardest part was carefully pulling the cables out of the non-working DVD drive. I didn't need any spare tools either. The DVD player works great now and saved me from buying a new computer.

What a bargain! I bought a refurbished desktop here at Revain. There is something seriously wrong with the burner drive, but rather than boxing it up and sending it back I decided to just buy a used burner. This burner is suitable for Optiplex. Both work great.

After a few months of use, the door now won't open unless I use the paperclip method, which is really awkward. I'm not sure if I can find a way to fix this or not. I didn't want to waste time and energy on disassembly. And for some reason, after a few months, it magically reopens. I wonder how long?
