Easy to install even for a layman
I'm definitely not a techie and found the installation very easy after finding instructions for my Dell Optiplex 7010 desktop on a Dell. site. It took a maximum of 5 minutes. The hardest part was carefully pulling the cables out of the non-working DVD drive. I didn't need any spare tools either. The DVD player works great now and saved me from buying a new computer.
