About 5 pieces arrived

It arrived in parts which contained tiny springs and small torsion type metal parts, I had no idea what to do with it so sent it back. seemed useless to me.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Mystery

Good Savings - Key Inserts

I only had one key so I had to have a local locksmith program it for me. 70 dollars later it was done. It's a much cheaper alternative to dealer and Ace hardware, both of which wanted $200.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some flaws

best in Key Shells

My metal part of the key broke off the plastic parts. I bought this, replaced the innards of the remote with a new case and it was solid again. PS The w4llm4rt car department did not charge a fee for making a new key.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Cheaper than a brand new key!

I cut the blade off, the electronics from the old Jett fit perfectly, the key is a bit thicker than the handle but doesn't cause any problems. Not sure how it will hold up in the long run, but it was a lot cheaper than buying a $120 key! I just want to say that Ford made it so that the key to start the car became expensive!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Damaged

Brilliant. Lots of money saved.

My friend has a 2015 Explorer. She broke the key to the fob. I glued it by tying the zipper. Barely held. The dealer wanted about 300 for a new key and program. I ordered it. I took it to a hardware store. I paid $3 to have them cut it out and then I pulled out their guts and put that in. Works perfect. Better than the original because their buttons hung where they didn't work.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • So-so
