Save a few hundred dollars.

The key is just a plug. My old keyrings got killed by the washing machine. The new fobs were paired with my current keys from my Jetta 2000. Both were programmed in less than 10 minutes. Internet guide.

Good bang for your buck!

We bought a used VW Passat that came with only one key/remote, saw it was advertised here on Amazon so I bought a pair and opened one up here local key shop Glendale. cut and program it for me! It was definitely cheaper than visiting a VW dealer. At under $100 for these remotes, it saves me the worry of losing the only key I have. By the way, they have great remotes, they look and feel like the originals.👌🏼

Perfect for mk4 vr6 2003 jetta

perfect for mk4 vr6 2003 jetta. Locksmith cut 2 keys, programmed transponders and remotes for $100. The dealer wanted $275 for the key. They work better than factory. The only difference I can tell is that they don't have a logo, but oh well. Excellent work.

The keys are accepted by the security program.

I have a 2001 Volkswagen Beetle and these keys have worked 100%. I cut and programmed them at a Volkswagen dealer who doubted they would work. They said about 10% of dongles bought online accept the program. I left with new keys. Many Thanks.

Don't let the description fool you, you have to program it and you can't do it yourself.

I finally got the chance to program these key fobs for my VW Passat Wagon. They were afraid to program and cut the key but I told them if it doesn't work it's my turn. They still made their money in a day. In fact, after the programming code was confirmed, I asked them to cut and program a second one. The cost of cutting out two keys and programming the fob was a fraction of the Version 1 cost paid by the dealer. The trunk lid button is not instantaneous. There is a slight delay, but a flashing
