The best deal on a device that can overlook a few 350 Chevys. I really liked the quality and design. It's nice to have entrances and exits on both sides. Made the setup very easy. Most similar devices cost twice as much.

Complete failure. The gasket fell apart and the bowl was deformed and displaced. I can only assume that the sun heated the gas in the bowl and created enough pressure to do this? Boats sit in the sun anyway, so something like that shouldn't work. The only way to get a refund is to send it back. I'm not sure the post office would appreciate it if I sent an item soaked in gasoline.

Update 09/09/20: The lower plastic water pan has been deformed by the impact of petrol to the point that it cannot even be screwed onto the filter. If it had happened while I was on duty, I wouldn't have a houseboat now. This is scrap. The O-ring failed within the first few days after installation. Unfortunately I didn't see him until he leaked gas all over the bottom of the boat.
