Long time Norelco user, maybe it's time for a change. I've never bought new heads. Installed, and the quality of the shave has fallen sharply. Turn on the razor and it sounds the same, but the moment you touch your face it sounds like the heads are slowly lowering and the motor is kicking in. A full shave takes 2-3 times longer and seems like a much less thorough job. It's been a few weeks hoping they'll 'get through' but almost ready to put the old heads back in.

I have been using Norelco razors for a long time. My current shaver was taking forever to get a close shave so I decided to take a chance and order these replacement heads. I was amazed at how fast I was now. I should have done this a long time ago. My only issue is that these heads are a bit noisier than the originals and sometimes the shaver stops but starts working again. I'll put a drop of oil on their heads to see if that helps the situation.

Upon arrival I noticed that the replacement blades were different than the ones in my last set a year or two ago. They replaced one of the components with plastic. I have a Norelco 5675 shaver. I bought these heads for $19.95. When I bought my new shaver I paid a $69 rebate including new replacement heads. I'd rather buy a new shaver. I installed the heads according to the instructions with no problems. The problem is that with every pressure on the heads, like shaving, the motor slows down, as if there was friction on them.

Disappointed that the cutting blades are no longer solid metal. The back is made of plastic and fits over a stand that rotates the blade. This in turn creates a terrible grinding noise and prevents a close shave. I ended up putting my old razor blades back into the head unit until I found a better razor head.

As an aftermarket replacement, not an OEM blade, they almost stopped the shaver immediately with no load. I am now using my old blades and ordering OEM blades and encourage anyone reading this to do the same.
