Affordable quality product

This fork is very durable and easy to assemble. This product helped me salvage an RV power cord that I had previously run over with a lawnmower. Now my cable is a little shorter.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Can't remember

The fork is well made. in Plugs, sockets and sockets

The plug is well made. I used it for an alternator. 6/4 SOOW wire was used. It was a bit tight, after unscrewing everything was perfect. It takes a little thought to get the wires the right length.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • I will add later

Well designed and easy to use

Well designed fork. The built-in handle makes it easy and safe to use, and the cord clip fits well. Quick and easy to assemble. I have bought other 30 amp plugs before and this is my favorite design.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • There are cons

Cheaper than local sources

I needed this connector to terminate the cable to connect my backup generator to my electrical panel. It was exactly what was needed and at a lower price than local sources. With any luck, I might never have to use it.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Follow the instructions

Shoreline power plug replacement for my RV. These tough, thick wires can be difficult to work with. Be sure to follow the instructions, cut and strip the wires to the specified dimensions to facilitate the correct installation of the wires.

Pros
  • Industry best
Cons
  • Discontinued

Piece of junk - RV parts and supplies

Got a passport and it took Seymour about 10 minutes to hook up the cable and he worked and seated properly. This one took 4 times as long. The grounding lug is not designed for stranded wires. When you tighten it, it bends and doesn't secure the wire. The two straps holding the cable are not tight enough to attach it to the connector. I had to attach it with tape. I would not use this product again even if it was free.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Small things

Great fork but look inside the setup.

I had left an old cable from the previous motorhome owner. So I bought this link to make a camper extension if needed and it's a lot cheaper. The bottom two screws do not need to be removed to open the case, the bottom two screws hold the cable securely to the connector by clamping the cable. To open and inspect the wires, all you have to do is unscrew the top three screws.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • A small change
