I bought this remote and must have received a broken one. Everything worked fine at first, but after a few weeks it stopped working. Used high quality batteries that were brand new when using the remote control. Replaced and still not working. Luckily it was pretty cheap!

I think you get what you pay for but these remotes really stink. You have to point them at just the right angle for them to work. There's no room for error, and it requires stretching your arm up and your wrist down in a rather awkward and uncomfortable position. It's pricey, but just buy a real Roku remote for $20. Thats much better.

My 2 year old daughter recently hid the remote control. One day I searched the floors of the whole house, under the couches, under the beds, everything and it was hidden in my pocket which I found the next day. I bought this to keep in my pocket. So if she hides it again, I always have a remote control to turn on her Peppa or Dora. Because unfortunately there are no physical buttons on TCL Roku TVs. Attractive price but save time and buy original remote controls for little more. I bought two packs as I keep losing these little remotes. The battery cover of a remote control was deformed and would not close. I put the batteries in only to find the remote didn't actually work. From time to time it was registered on the TV, but most of the time it didn't work. The second remote didn't work at all.
